3-Day seminar under AICTE-VAANI Scheme on Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security: Challenges and Opportunities for Digital Bharat

The 3-Day Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security: Challenges and Opportunities for Digital Bharat (Emerging Field: Advanced Computing (Supercomputing, AI, Quantum Computing)) under the AICTE-VAANI Scheme was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College during August 21-23, 2024. The seminar was inaugurated in the gracious presence of Mr. Khandbahale Umesh Ganpat, IPS, SP, JALPAIGURI DISTRICT POLICE, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Das, MD, WEBEL and State Information Security Officer, Addl. Secretary, Government of West Bengal and Dr. Amitava Ray, Principal, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. The seminar was conducted in Bengali language. There were more than 50 participants from different AICTE-approved institutions. A total of 11 sessions were delivered on AI and Cyber security by eminent domain experts from the AI and Cyber Security area.

The seminar was financially supported by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) to conduct the seminar under the AICTE-VAANI scheme in Bengali Language. We are very thankful to the AICTE for allowing us to organize the same. We are also very much grateful to our resource persons, participants, and organizing team for making the event successful.
